So as many of you know, my husband and I have tried a few times with IUI’s to get pregnant and both times it didn’t take.(it was rough)  We had to take a couple months off due to the physical and emotional effects it had on us. But we feel like it is time to start our adventure, but on a different path. So with all of the testing we found out that I have the ability to produce more eggs then the average women, which means I can help someone become a mom! So we have decided to help out other women who can not produce their own eggs.

I feel like this is the right thing to do, knowing how it feels to want a baby and not having the option to have it happen the natural way. It makes me happy to think that I can help other women and pass on the red head gene. Doing this will delay our getting pregnant by a year or so..but it’s worth it! So the next adventure is signing up to be an egg donor! I am a little scared not knowing exactly what I will be going through. But I know Kevin will be by my side every step of the way! Together we will get through this and hopefully by the end of next year be pregnant and finally be able to become parents!

Talking with a friend I realized that there is never a time in your life that the moment will be right. You have to make things happen if you really want it! Yes you might have to work harder and yes this might complicate things a little, but that is what life is about. You need to live the now, not wait for that moment. You never know what will happen before “that” moment shows its self! It’s time to make the things I want happen now!
